Administrative issues: On September 13, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration transferred 25 joint and undersecretaries to the local levels and district coordination committees. But even after four months of transfer, only a secretary is working at the office assigned by the ministry, and the remaining 24 secretaries are still working in the previous work station as assigned. Meanwhile, discussions are underway in the ministry to take action against them.

In the second stage, Bagmati Pradesh Police Office put complaint boxes at 67 local levels all over the province. Previously, the police office had placed boxes at 31 local levels. Its aim is to address the complaints, suggestions, and grievances so that the police can improve their work.

Bagmati Province Land Commission signed an agreement with 28 local levels for managing the settlement and providing land to the squatters. There are more than 1.3 million landless squatters in the country.

The District Disaster Management Committee decided, after a field visit, to close illegal crusher industries in Rautahat.

Economic and development issues: Karnali Pradesh expended only 3.96%  in the first four months of the current fiscal year 2020/21. Karnali Pradesh spent nearly 2% of the capital budget so far. As per the budget expenditure, there are indications that the budget will be frozen and development work will be halted as in previous years when more than half of the budget was frozen.

Gandaki Pradesh installed solar lights in 400 houses at Mustang under the Ujyalo Pradesh Campaign. The province invested Rs 6.8 million for light. Locals are financing 25 percent of the cost. Gandaki Province had allocated Rs 20 million for the campaign. On February 16, 2018, the provincial cabinet had decided to provide solar electricity to all households within two years.
