The valley authorities extend prohibitory orders for one more week with easiness in restrictions and other sectors including Visa processing are expected to open soon. The visa processing will ease the situation of foreign job market for Nepalese migrant workers.

The shadow pandemic of domestic violence of different patterns are increasing all across the country as cases of rape, acid attacks, suicide, child marriages, accused murders, witchcraft, dowry, violence against women and children are in rise. Total 37 cases of violence against children and women were reported in two months.

The supposed suicide case of Sabita Bhandari around suspicion against her in-laws as her relatives claim that she was murdered and a victim of domestic violence. 

The pride month of June celebrated by the LGBTQIA+ community each year turns into a virtual event this year due to the pandemic restrictions. The Nepali LGBTQIA+ community celebrates this month through pride parades, awareness campaigns and march, which will all be virtual this year.
