Nepal has people to people level relation with the US

In the 10th AGM of the National coordination committee of Non- Resident Nepalese Association in New York on July 3, the Nepali envoy expressed appreciation to the US government for its support to Nepal to overcome the pandemic. He also stated that the US and Nepal have stronger people to people relations than diplomatic relations.

Vaccines bought from China to arrive by the end of July

2.4 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccines are coming from China’s by July 23. A non-disclosure agreement was signed between Nepal government and Chinese company Sinopharm. The government has not revealed the details of the vaccine procurement; however as per the source a total of 4 million doses are being procured.

India has lifted the ban on import of palm oil from Nepal

After almost 13 months India has listed the ban on import of refined palm oil from Nepal. Industrialists believe that it will take at least a month for the export to resume.

Nepali leaders invited to the World Political Parties Summit

China hosted the World Political Parties Summit on the occasion of hundredth anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party on July 6. China invited KP Sharma Oli, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Puspa Kamal Dahal and Baburam Bhattarari amongst others to participate in the Summit.
