Pradeep Gyawali to visit Delhi: After the Sixth meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission was postponed in December due to internal party dispute, Pradeep Gyawali is set to visit New Delhi in January 2021. Even though the House of Representatives stands dissolved, experts argued that bilateral talks with India shouldn’t be put in the backseat. However, they also warned that no major decision should be taken during the meeting.

The agenda: Pradeep Gyawali is visiting New Delhi on January 14 for the Sixth Meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission. One of the topics on their agenda is to procure vaccine for Nepal from India. Other issues such as border dispute, border management, the Pancheshwar Multipurpose Project, the trade and transit treaty between the countries would also be discussed.
